The Ember & Oak Story
Born from a singular obsession — the alchemy of fire and Indian spice — Ember & Oak opened its doors on Mayfair's Bruton Place in 2019. Executive Chef Arjun Mehta spent fifteen years across Mumbai, Tokyo, and Copenhagen before returning to his roots, reimagining the subcontinent's greatest flavours through the lens of live-fire cooking.
Every dish is a study in restraint and intensity. Our open kitchen — visible from every table — is a theatre of smoke, char, and precision. We source exclusively from British and Indian artisan producers, forging relationships that span continents and seasons.
